HERE IN GAINESVILLE, HASHING IS LIKE AN ATHLETIC HAPPY HOUR.
Hashing clubs can be found worldwide, and some people call them a drinking club with a running problem. Come to the next GATR Hash and run (or walk) with us in the pursuit of beer, fun, and some fitness. All you have to do is show up. Your second hash is free and ALL are welcome!
What to expect:
Someone from our group, the "hare", lays down a trail of Hash Marks for the "pack" to follow. There are stops along the way to keep the group together, at least one of which has water and beer. Trails are usually in the 2-4 mile range running streets, forest, fields, streams, swamps and anything that gets in the way. Afterwards we have beer and a bit of traditional silliness. Just show up with a sense of humor and everything should be fine.
